The Elite Wagyu National Sale catalogue is now fully completed and off to the printer
This year’s sale is promising to be a ripper with a record number of Lots on offer representing the top 5% of Wagyu genetics.
The preliminary catalogue is now available online for review. Please note, that details about Lots and/or withdrawals may still occur leading up to the Sale. A full and final catalogue will be available during the conference.
If you are keen to be a bidder for the Sale, you must pre-register with GDL to receive trading approval at least 48 hours prior to the Sale. If you can’t make it to the Sale, telephone bids via GDL can be made. The Sale will be conducted live and online, interfacing with AuctionsPlus’ online facility from 3.00pm Adelaide time.
The catalogue offers buyers progeny of the most popular super sires such as Mayura’s Itoshigenami Jnr, Coates Itoshigenami G113, Sumo Michifuku F154, Sumo Michifuku F126, Macquarie Y408, Macquarie Prelude M0495 and Poll Wagyu Midnight M0775.

Comprising of: 140 Fullblood cows – unjoined, dry, calves weaned 50 Fullblood heifers – yearlings, unjoined 35 Fullblood bulls – Top 20% breedplan data, 2years old, Ideal for F1 or Fullblood breeding Females to be sold as individual lots to pens of 10.
All cattle are in good healthy condition. The cows were previously joined all through the year, but they have been held back to allow calving in one season. This is a “One Off” sale of females, as the properties are becoming overstocked.

The Premium Wagyu Sale on AuctionsPlus has developed into a regular sale of good quality Wagyu cattle - Stud, Fullblood & Purebred, plus semen and embryos. The eligibility for entry has been raised, to promote the sale of good quality Wagyu cattle and genetics, based on the latest breedplan data. For those cattle that do not meet the standard, they may qualify as “Special Interest”, for example rare genetics, polled genetics etc, at the discretion of the AWA.
The three new Breed Object $ Indexes of Self-replacing Breed, Fullblood Terminal or F1 Terminal will be used to set a minimum level of entry standard, using any one index, prior to cataloguing. Females – Top 30% or better. Bulls & Genetics – Top 20% or better.
