Mixed sex 1st and 2nd cross lambs. 10% tail has been removed from this mob. Lambs bred out of plain bodied merino ewes with 16% of Lambs out of 1st cross ewes. Note lambs only shorn 1 week ago and are doing well on good feed now. Notable trait numbers are based on lambs assessed. 131 assessed out of 580 - 23%. Photos of old fly scarring are attached - showing the worst affected. Any lambs that were severely affected were drafted out. Majority of Lambs in good-forward condition and will continue to do on good feed. mouthed heavier lambs and still good milk teeth. All the hard work is done - Lambs shorn and going ahead. Have the potential to be very good heavy lambs. |
